Constantine has recently undergone a period of substantial investment and growth that has seen the opening of our new high specification storage premises.
As well as museum standard, climate-controlled storage we can provide a more economical heated (ambient temperature) facility.
We are pleased to say that we have customs-approved, bonded status that allows us to import works of art without incurring import VAT. The works currently need to remain on our premises whilst under our bond but they can be seen in one of our viewing rooms.
When works come into the warehouse they are booked into our IMA database system and every piece is given an individual reference number that we use to identify and locate each work. Records can be accessed easily by the Gallery Services Department and information can be exported to Excel then e-mailed to you if required. This is a useful tool to search for works particularly as the account grows and movements become more frequent. It’s also possible to take images of works and attach them to the records on the IMA thereby making it easy to identify works.
In addition, we are be pleased to offer you a 10 percent discount for long-term storage items. Terms of reference, including what constitutes long term, are a matter for negotiation between Constantine and the customer.
Finally, we also offer comprehensive insurance, underwritten by Lloyds of London. Whether required for nail-to-nail transport in transit, a full exhibition period, or while in storage, we can offer a full range of services at a reasonable cost.
